BAF3M - Financial Accounting Fundamentals


Course Description:
 

This course introduces students to the fundamental principles and procedures of accounting.  Students will develop financial analysis and decision-making skills that will assist them in future studies and/or career opportunities in business.  Students will acquire an understanding of accounting for a service and a merchandising business, computerized accounting, financial analysis, and ethics and current issues in accounting.

CIA4U - Analysing Current Economic Issues

Course Description:

 

This course investigates the nature of the competitive global economy and explores how individuals and societies can gain the information they need to make appropriate economic decisions. Students will learn about the principles of microeconomics and macroeconomics, apply economic models and concepts to interpret economic information, assess the validity of statistics, and investigate marketplace dynamics. Students will use economic inquiry and communication skills to analyse current economic issues, make informed judgments, and

present their findings.
