Launch of New Announcement section

Here we will inform you of all news and events. Please note that we will not post announcements under the old section (Parents' Corner>Announcements) anymore. However, we will post any letters going home under “Parents's Corner>Letters sent home” and you’ll be notified that a letter has been sent home in this section.

We hope this will make it easier to know what’s happening at the school for students, parents, and the community at large.

The ISNA High 2010-2011 Calendar is now posted online. You can view this under the Parent's Corner section. Please continue to visit this calendar from time to time as it will be updated with important dates regularly.

Classes Begin September 1st, 2010

The 2010-2011 academic year will begin on Wednesday September 1^st. The early start is needed to ensure we have the necessary instructional days in the school year calendar without extending the school year into July or removing any holidays during the year.

We are looking forward to seeing all of the new and returning students!

Appointment of Mr. Salar Abdul-Aziz Rasoul as Principal of ISNA High

I am pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Salar Abdul-Aziz Rasoul to the position of the Principal of ISNA High. The ISNA Schools Board approved his appointment and he will be assuming the responsibilities effective September 1, 2010. Congratulations, Mr. Rasoul!

Principal: Mr. S. A. Rasoul Mr. Rasoul is a dedicated hardworking teacher and a leader in education. He came to us two and a half year ago from Olive Grove School. He was appointed as Vice Principal in September 2008. Since then, he has committed his energy and time to make this school a better school.

Mr. Rasoul graduated from Ryerson University with an Engineering degree. His interest in teaching took him to the University of Toronto at the Faculty of Education to earn his Bachelor of Education. In 2009, he completed Principal’s course. Mr. Rasoul is pursuing his Master in Education degree from Brock University and expected to complete it in early 2011.

I am sure you will join me in welcoming Mr. Rasoul in his new role as the Principal and will give him full support and cooperation to pursue important objectives of making ISNA High a model school in the community.

School Eid field trip Sept 13th,2010

InshahAllah on Monday 13th of September ISNA High School will be going on a field trip to Classic Bowl. Breakfast will be hosted in the morning and we will leave school at 10:00 am sharp.

It will be an early dismissal day, pick up time will be after Duhr.

Please complete and submit the form before the Eid holidays Sept 8th,2010.
